World Wrestling Entertainment
Dawn Marie and Tori Wilson According to the news feeds, many people feel offended by the way the WWE has been using sick sex storylines, from necrophilia to the lesbian angle between Dawn Marie and Tori Wilson to the incest overtone involving Vince and Stephanie McMahon. It's true that sex sells, but there should be a limit to these silly storylines. Instead of relying on sex, the WWE should support an independent promotion or resurrect WCW or ECW (both owned by the WWE). A promotion that can be controlled, yet be left to be independent, can be healthier competition and would persuade wrestling fans watch. I don't refer to the stupid branch division. There is no true competition between RAW and Smackdown. When the WWE and the old WCW had the Monday night wars, there were great matches. When ECW got the contract with TNN, wrestling on television was even better.

Don't take the previous opinion wrong, I don't mind my children watching women beating each other up. I'm actually glad that female wrestlers are back.

Some things are good and silly at the same time. The WWE has hired Zack Gowen (the so-called biggest fan of Hulk Hogan). It's good that this kid, who lost a leg as a child, is living his dream. At the same time, how can he wrestle? Who can he wrestle fairly? What will happen if a wrestler hurts him? His first big fight is against Vince McMahon who can fight (mostly not an act). The WWE must be ready to answer the latter question in the event of an accident. After all, the fight on which he teamed up with Stephanie McMahon against the Big Show (Paul Wight) was fixed (more than usual). Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar beat the Big Show and Gowen only pinned him (Smackdown, 07.03.03).

By the way, Hulk Hogan has left the WWE again. Who's next to leave the promotion? What happened to the Legion of Doom? There are some wrestlers that are not being used properly as of late like Kevin Nash and Bill Goldberg.

As usual every time someone leaves WWE, he/she ends up in another promotion like TNA, and vice versa (that took the place that WCW and ECW had in the late 1990's). Will Sting ever come to the WWE?

Does anyone care about the push that the WWE is giving Kane? It is a gimmick that is being stretched too much. The whole story of the man burnt by his brother (the Undertaker) was boring then and is still nowadays. Kane is allegedly beating other wrestlers (RAW, 07.07.03) and has burnt Jim Ross with bad taped screams in the background (RAW, 07.14.03). This storyline will give Jim Ross some time off from television. To continue this stupid storyline, Kane even attacked officials (including Arn Anderson). Kane even gave a pile-drive to Linda McMahon (RAW, 07.21.03). This whole soap-opera is a bad move from a company that is a monopoly (just like Microsoft).

Stone Cold and Eric Bischoff were given the night off (RAW, 07.21.03). Steve Austin is on probation and has to decide whether he would continue as a co-general manager. This storyline has escalated from Austin's continuous fights with wrestlers. Does anyone really care about this storylines? The WWE should drop all these stories? I dare to say that most fans want to watch fights, not soap-operas.

The fight between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho was simply amazing (RAW, 07.21.03). Although Ric Flair and Randy Orton interfered in the match, the fight was as good as the fight between the British Bulldog and Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship (SummerSlam, 1992).

Total Non-Stop Action
TNA is following some of the steps that the "old" WCW did years ago. TNA sponsors or owns a NASCAR race car. I understand that any type of advertisement is good advertisement, but I've never understood if there's relationship between race cars and wrestling.

Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling
Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling The following are the results from Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling's latest event, entitled Burning Glory held 07.19.03 at the Polish Hall in Niagara Falls, Canada.

Kris Chambers defeated Mucha Lucha (Los Jalapeno and Suicide Sean Ball) via pinfall after Chambers hit his patented flying elbow.

There was a contract signing between J.T. Playa, "Showtime" Eric Young and "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde that saw Wylde get a crack at the winner of the Grand Championship tournament (final held later that evening between Young and Playa) on 08.16.03 at the Polish Hall.

The All Knighters (Joey Knight and Robin Knightwing) defeated Ruffly Perfect (Marco Malaquias and Ruffy Silverstein) via pinfall.

Robb "The Reff" Myers and PeeWee Kastles brawled to a no-contest in an Incredible Hulk Rules match as PeeWee's cornerman Jace Fury kept interfering causing this match to be thrown out.

"Completely" Cody Steele defeated Jace Fury via pinfall.

The Italianos (Primo Scordino and "Stickball" Tony Carbonie) defeated Team T.J. (T.J. Harley and Ash) via pinfall to become new Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling tag team champions.

J.C. Owens defeated Lazzerus via pinfall to retain the Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling Independent championship.

"Dangerboy" Derek Wylde defeated The Hacker via pinfall. This match included a powerbomb into the second turnbuckle by Hacker onto Wylde, and The Hacker also drove Wylde through a table with his finisher The Firewall (A.J. Styles finisher) to the arena floor.

J.T. Playa defeated "Showtime" Eric Young with help from The Hacker and Jace Fury to become the first ever Grand Champion title holder.

The following are the results of the Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling show, Overdrive, held in St. Catharines, Ontario on 07.26.03.

"Suicide" Sean Ball defeated Los Jalapeno via pinfall after unmasking Jalapeno. Los Jalapeno, in fear of having his face seen in public, took the pin and immediately covered his face with his cape after the match, and issued a challenge to face Ball in a mask against mask match next month (08.16.03 at the Polish Hall, Niagara Falls, ON).

"Picture Perfect" Marco Malaquias defeated T.J. Harley via pinfall.

Shawn Spears defeated "The Specialist" Randy Vaughn via pinfall.

The Italianos retained the Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling tag team championship by beating the returning BodyCount by disqualification as Commissioner Pee Wee Kastles overturned the decision of referee Matt Young citing BodyCount threw a member of The Italianos over the top rope while Young was knocked out. Throwing an opponent over the top rope in Neo Spirit Pro is illegal and therefore Kastles had no choice but to overturn the official.

J.C. Owens retained the Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling Independent Championship, defeating "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde via pinfall after interference from The Hacker.

Kris Chambers defeated "Completely" Cody Steele and Lazzerus via pinfall to earn the final spot in next month's battle royal, where the winner will obtain an Independent title shot in September.

The Hacker and Jace Fury defeated The Original Sinn and Crazy Steve via pinfall.

"Showtime" Eric Young defeated J.T. Playa by disqualification in a Lumberjack match after Playa struck the official Robb Myers with the Grand Championship title. As a result of the disqualification, J.T. Playa remains the Neo Spirit Grand Champion as the title cannot change hands on a disqualification.
