World Wrestling Entertainment
Wrestlemania 19 Stone Cold is finally back in the WWE. His first time with a microphone was strange. He was not vulgar to anyone, but was rather thankful to be back. Stone Cold was supposed to fight the Rock, but they didn't (strange way to sell RAW, 03.03.03).

Nothing exciting has happened in the WWE for a while. Maybe the promotion has reached another period of pure stupid boredom. Aside from the GGW (Girls Gone Wild) and the Playboy cross promotion deals, the WWE has been very dull for months. Not even the four-hour-long Wrestlemania XIX (03.30.03) sounds exciting. Vince McMahon will fight Hogan. The Rock will fight Stone Cold. Booker T will fight Triple-H for the world heavyweight championship (the RAW title). Lesner will fight Angle for the WWE championship (the Smackdown title). Limp Bizkit will play live. Don't get me wrong. I like WWE, but where is the thrill as of late?

UPN 9 in NYC pre-empted Smackdown (03.20.03). With the war, I doubt many wrestling fans complained about not watching Smackdown. I watched the news all night on Fox News and CNN.

Rumors speak of trouble in the WWE, from egos to money to loss in ratings. At least I know I am not the only one wondering what is wrong with the WWE. Actually the answer is simple. There is no competition. If Vince McMahon wants to keep WWE alive. He should either invest in ECW or TNA. Around 1996 the WWF (now WWE) invited ECW to RAW. That boosted ratings of both RAW and ECW. Another stupid move that will hurt WWE eventually is the division of the promotion into RAW and Smackdown. Just put the promotion together. Competition within the promotion is stupid.

Wrestlemania XIX (03.30.03) was not exciting as it used to be. Goldberg is coming to WWE (big deal). Hogan beat McMahon. Austin lost to the Rock. Lesner won the the WWE championship (which is actually the Smackdown title).

Total Non-Stop Action
TNA has a deal with Time Warner New York City (channel 94). Time Warner New York City will air XPlosion. That is good for most New York wrestling fans, but not for me. I have RCN. How long will I have to wait to watch XPlosion on RCN? I am pissed.
